What is the plan for the Sponsorship & Partnership Manager role?
The Sponsorship & Partnership Manager is responsible for the planning, delivering and evaluating the sponsorship & partnership portfolio for the Gaming brands, whilst ensuring that the Brand positioning through PR Activities and ATL Media is executed according to defined Brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Working with the Head of Gaming, the Sponsorship & Partnership Manager will source and evaluate new TV or event sponsorships, making recommendations to the senior management team in addition to being the internal acct manager for all sponsorships and brand partnerships for the Gaming brands division. They will also be accountable for all PR activities, working closely with 3rd parties to ensure PR activity drives strong ROI and maximum exposure.
What will you do as a Sponsorship & Partnership Manager?
Define a long term strategy for our key partnerships across all Gaming Brands, driving the implementation of this strategy to deliver a cohesive long term sponsorship plan for the business to best use investment in this area and align with brand positioning.
Accountable for the effectiveness and ROI of all partnership and sponsorship investment throughout the year and for reporting on this attending monthly sessions with our media agency to discuss planning and evaluation.
Procure and evaluate new sponsorship and partnership opportunities based on the needs of the business as well as producing business cases for investment in potential deals.
Assist in delivery of ATL creative (including TV) supporting the Head of Gaming in delivery of ATL creative ensuring it fits into Brand guidelines and themes.
Work with external creative agency on delivering ATL creatives for sponsorships and support the process from start to finish with sign off from Head of Gaming and MD gaming brands.
Work with internal creative team on briefing any digital or press marketing collateral for sponsorship and PR activation.
Work on coordinating and planning all activation activities for sponsorships and be the sole owner for organising all elements of the sponsorship package to ensure maximization of value and consistency of delivery across all channels.
Work closely with our legal, contract and compliance team to ensure that all sponsorship and partnership contracts with third party entities leave in a commercially strong and legally safe state
Take ownership of budgetary controls for partnership, sponsorship and PR spend, payment of invoices and overall tracking of spend levels including activation fees and branding production
Organise and execute PR activities as a calendar of events, using appropriate strategies, tactics and channels to activate and report on effectiveness.
Manage all events for the gaming brands including budget and ensure that we achieve cost efficiencies and manage within budget.

Solid online experience essential; ideally gained within the online gaming industry
Experience running partnership marketing strategy expected
Experience in developing and executing media plans
Exemplary written and spoken English
Strong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at once.
Ability to work effectively as part of both small teams and larger formal groups
Detail focused but able to see the “big picture” and maintain progress
Advanced in Microsoft Excel, highly analytical and data driven with a strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, time management and organization skills
Ability to come up with ideas/concepts and suggestions/improvements and follow these through to implementation
