RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a private family office who has a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join this high performance team based in Gibraltar. The company is progressive and ambitious, has a policy of promoting from within and has a dedication to professional training and progression.

You would be required to support its growing team overseeing international companies and US/EU based real estate holdings. Candidates must be qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or international equivalent) looking to further their career and ideally from a practice background.

What will you do as a Senior Accountant?

The role involves working with 3rd party property managers located in America and Europe, to ensure proper accounting and reporting practice. This includes reviewing and analysing property and portfolio related operating data as well as monthly financials. Other duties include tracking payables and receivables for all group billings.

What do you know that makes you a great Senior Accountant?

Ideally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) but part qualified considered
Ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
Excellent English and communication skills
Solid IT Skills
Confident and professional telephone manner
Works well in small team within a fast paced environment
Knowledge of Real Estate preferred
Flexibility to support US time zone particularly at month end
Confident and professional manner
IT literate – accounting packages, MS Office

Salary £35k - 45k based on experience with bonus & an excellent benefits package.
