RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a worldwide online payment processing business who need a Junior Business Analyst to join their high performance team. Working already with a number of large blue chip organisations, the Group has built a unique solution that empowers the client to process payments in a bespoke way. Born from the Gaming industry, which pulled together a team of experts from Gaming, Fraud, Risk, Banking, IT & Compliance to create a “greenfield” solution specifically tailored from a Merchants perspective to meet the challenges of Online Gaming but applicable to any industry

What is the plan for the Junior Business Analyst role?

The Junior Business Analyst assists the senior BAs to define and scope new software products by gathering, validating, and documenting the business and customer requirements into comprehensive statements of scope that satisfy both functional and non functional specifications. The Junior Business Analyst will participate in the system development life cycle serving as the intermediary between the end users and the developers to ensure product information is properly disseminated.

What will you do as a Junior Business Analyst?

Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (functional requirements, business requirements, use cases, etc.)
Make contributions in the development of Test Plans and Test Scripts, and perform test execution as required.
Ensure that various documents, manuals, etc. are kept up to date
Serve as a knowledgeable resource on the functionality of various modules and processes within the software
Participate in work planning sessions and software demonstrations
Conduct internal review of final product prior to release to ensure complete functionality and fitness for delivery
Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences
Perform other duties as deemed relevant based upon experience to fulfill customer needs

What do you know that makes you a great?

1-2 years of overall relevant experience
Experience in working on projects related to custom software development and knowledge of full SDLC
Experience in requirements planning, functional design, and business process modelling preferred
Experience with Java preferred

Salary circa £30k based on experience with relocation package.
