RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a market leading egaming company who has a great opportunity for a Customer Due Diligence and Risk Operations Manager to join this high performance team based in Gibraltar. What is the plan for the Customer Due Diligence and Risk Operations Manager role?

The Operations manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations within the department. Co-ordinating with other divisions such as Member Support, Accounts, Transactions and VIP.
Managing the team leaders within the department and through them their respective teams.
Understanding of all CDD procedures and processes ensuring all conditions are met.

What will you do as a Customer Due Diligence and Risk Operations Manager?

Dealing with various Customer Due Diligence procedures and to ensure all conditions are met within the department.
Focus on improvements for the verification processes.
Effective use of data to identify any shortfalls in the KYC/CDD procedures.
Understanding of how Source of funds relates to current business practices.
Manage accompanying complaints from members in regards to these measures.
Dealing with fraud related issues, such as how promotional and bonus abuse affects the business.
Dealing with the chargeback process, including the Representments used to combat disputes.
Involved in all Poker Fraud procedures, ensuring it as efficient as can be, investing in new procedures and products to detect and prevent chip dumping, AI, collusion etc.
Ability to manage, develop and motivate a team of people
Strong interpersonal skills - ability to influence & inspire others and to work effectively in a diverse team as part of a dynamic business.
Ability to identify areas for improvement and efficiency & to propose and implement viable business solutions to streamline the departmental processes, as well as reduce cost on a company level.
Recruitment & Training.
Prepare and deliver department goals and aims especially when dealing with new procedures.
Responsible for all applications, including development, usability, bugs and implementation of new features.


What do you know that makes you a great Customer Due Diligence and Risk Operations Manager?

Previous experience in a similar fraud / risk role with igaming
Knowledge within customer due diligence processes, such as KYC, AML and SOF
Excellent understanding of e-payments processing and the e-commerce world
Demonstrate experience and knowledge of verification practices
Ability to comprehend and analyze financial and statistical data.
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast paced dead-line driven environment
Able to lead a Team and be a Team player

Salary circa £40k based on experience with bonus & an excellent relocation and benefits package.
