What is the plan for the Compliance Officer role?

The successful candidate will report into the Head of Compliance, and will assist with the day-to-day running of the compliance activities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong decision making and an ability to manage a demanding workload effectively and in a timely manner.

What will you do as a Compliance Officer?

Participation in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
Monitoring key regulatory changes relevant to the gaming sector, and communicating any such updates to internal stakeholders.
Point of contact to deal with requests and enquiries from regulatory and law enforcement authorities.
Assessment of internal controls and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to the business on compliance related matters.
Assist in the preparation and delivery of training to employees, and third party contractors.
Provide support to the DPO to ensure risks and controls associated with data privacy issues are identified, managed and mitigated.
Support data protection processes for breach management and data subject access requests.
Assist in the completion of Data Privacy Impact Assessments for projects with a significant personal data elements.

What do you know that makes you a great Compliance Officer?

Previous experience in a similar compliance role ideally in gaming or banking.
Membership and compliance related training completed with a reputable body, such as the International Compliance Association, or Gibraltar Association of Compliance Officers.
Have an understanding of AML, fraud, risk management and safer gaming.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn, and keep abreast of gaming regulation and requirements.
High level of computer proficiency, particularly with Word and Excel.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Fluent English with additional languages (preferably German) desirable.

Salary 35k - 50k based on experience with bonus & an excellent relocation and benefits package.
