RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a global asset management company who has a great opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager to join the existing Team. You will be a reliable self starter who is able to work accurately and autonomously. A hybrid work option is available.

What will you do as a Compliance Manager?

• The compliance role covers three areas, Client (KYC/AML CFT) Risk (COB/PRA/BRA/Risk Matrix/P&P’s) Controls (CMP’s/checks and controls/ Audits)
• Ensures clients' AML/CFT verification according to the regulatory standards. Including sanction screening and regulation.
• Performs proactive monitoring and control of manuals, policies, procedures, processes, practices and documentation from external and internal regulatory requirements.
• Develops and oversees control systems to prevent violations/breaching of policies and procedures. Provides relevant input for reporting to the senior management.
• Advises, updates and implements regulatory requirements through a comprehensive and efficient governance and reporting structure.
• Prepares reporting for senior management to allow for better decision taking within the company and reporting for external regulatory bodies to demonstrate the company's compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements.


Office hours are 8.45am - 5.30pm
You must live in the Gibraltar or Southern Spain area

What do you know that makes you a great Compliance Manager?

• Experience in a similar compliance role in Financial services or banking is essential.
• Suitable compliance qualifications preferred.
• Experience in the Gibraltar and other British Overseas Territories regulatory environments is essential.
• Comfortable using compliance and related software’s.
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Excellent level of written and spoken English and Spanish is essential.
• High standards of professionalism and discretion.


Salary £50k based on experience with company bonus.
