RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is an International Insurance Company who has a great opportunity for a Compliance Assistant. The company is a progressive and ambitious company who has a policy of promoting from within and has a dedication to professional training and progression. You will be required to undertake company secretarial duties, however, depending on your experience training and support will be provided if you do not have much experience in this area.

Hybrid work is available (2 from home and 3 from office)

What will you do as a Compliance Assistant?

 Assisting the Compliance Officer to fulfil their role for the company and client companies;
 Completing client compliance monitoring programmes
 Updating/managing client risk registers
 Researching regulation or legislation for the Compliance Officer
 Updating Compliance and Procedure Manuals
 Ensuring that the company and client due diligence requirements are met
 Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries;
 Filing of returns and documents with Companies House within deadlines;
 Monitoring, and making management aware of, changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment, and commenting upon how such changes might impact the business;


What do you know that makes you a great Compliance Assistant?

You will be a bright and motivated to want to learn and progress with experience in a comparable role.
You will have previous compliance experience within insurance or financial services
Good knowledge and experience of MS Excel.
Ideally you will have a degree

You will already live in the local area

Salary £35k - £45k depending on qualifications and experience.
