How does your Recruitment Service Work?

As a candidate we are here to offer you a number of services and essentially help you find a new role. The service is free and we will not submit your CV anywhere without your confirmation.

You will need to submit your CV to us for review

Everyone has their own thoughts on the layout and content of CVs (as do we!) but to start with let us have as much information as you can about what you have been doing. We will decide what we know the hiring company will find relevant so within reason as much as possible is fine.

What Recruiters Look At During The 6 Seconds They Spend On Your Resume!

Although we may never know why we didn't get chosen for a job interview, a recent study is shedding some light on recruiters' decision-making behavior. According to TheLadders research, recruiters spend an average of "six seconds before they make the initial 'fit or no fit' decision" on candidates.



The study used a scientific technique called “eye tracking” on 30 professional recruiters and examined their eye movements during a 10-week period to "record and analyze where and how long someone focuses when digesting a piece of information or completing a task."

In the short time that they spend with your resume, the study showed recruiters will look at your name, current title and company, current position start and end dates, previous title and company, previous position start and end dates, and education. Take this into consideration when submitting your details.

We aim to get back to you within a few days with either some screening questions that will be emailed to you or a call for a chat.

New Vacancies

If we do not have appropriate for you straight away then you will need to keep an eye on the website for new roles as they come up. This could be a matter of days or it could take weeks depending on your skill set.

Applying for roles

If you get an email with a role you are interested in then you can either call us to discuss or click on the website to apply for the role. We aim to screen out all applicants within 24 hours but depending on the role this may not always be possible. If we do not contact you then this due to the fact that we feel we have stronger candidates for the role.
Different companies put emphasis on different things and we have to bear this in mind when selecting candidates for them to review. This maybe a focus on locally based candidates or on a specific skill set, out of all those listed.  This is our job and is what our client pays us to do, so if you are not contacted it is normally due to you missing a skill set etc.

Submitting your CV

Once we have spoken we will go over some perspective roles and companies etc  and you can decide which ones you like. We will them prepare your CV and submit it to the company with an overview of you and your experience.

Interview time

Depending on location we will organise a telephone or face to face interview. You will be told who the interviewer is, their job title and the expected content of the interview.

Offer and references

If selected we will help organise the offer for you, including any need for negotiation. Most companies will need your references so have a few contact names and emails ready.


Most of us have had to relocate to the area at some time so we understand your questions and concerns so fell free to ask our help. We are here to help this be as easy as possible.
