Our client, a market leading international offshore law firm is keen to recruit an England and Wales qualified barrister from a well established set of chambers or a solicitor with higher rights of audience from a leading law firm, to join its litigation practice in Gibraltar. They specialise in the fields of general dispute resolution and commercial law although the contentious areas of practice which they have been most active in recent times are; financial and telecommunications regulation, professional negligence, complex fraud, insolvency, trust settlements, building construction and contract disputes.

Role

You will act for a broad range of clients spanning commerce and industry and financial institutions. A diverse and high caliber workload is guaranteed from the outset and you can expect exposure to a range of matters including contractual, commercial and corporate disputes, contentious banking and financial services issues, trust litigation, asset tracing, some insolvency and restructuring instructions as well as enforcement proceedings and conflict of laws concerns.

Candidate

You will have a stellar academic and career history with at 2 years experience of high profile commercial and chancery work gained at a leading set of chambers or top tier international law firm
