What is the plan for the COO / General Manager role?

You will assume overall responsibility for the execution of the company strategy and operations in Malta, including the development, management and overall profitability of the business both locally and internationally. The General Manager will report to the Board.

What will you do as a COO / General Manager?

You will align operations to the company’s strategic plans, and manages the finance, marketing, commercial, human resources and operational teams effectively and sustainably.
The role involves the generation of new business and the development of innovative solutions to local and international clients to achieve growth and to meet commercial goals.
By working closely with the operations team you will lead the planning, organisation, and co-ordination of the company.
In liaison with Human Resources you will ensure that well-trained, motivated and customer-centric management and technical teams are in place.
You will build trust with the team while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the executive team, external stakeholders and key partners.

What do you know that makes you a great COO / General Manager?

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a senior management role, preferably gained in the information technology industry.
The chosen candidate will be able to demonstrate a solid track record driving business growth and excellence in customer service.
You will have a clear understanding of emerging information technologies and their application.
You will be able to lead a dynamic team in a competitive environment; and will possess strong decision-making and communication skills, leadership qualities and business acumen to develop both the business and its people.

Salary €50k - €75k based on experience with bonus and private healthcare etc.
