They are looking for an experienced sys admin who can be trusted to work on their own initiative and consistently help in the creation of innovative solutions to client requests.
The client is a worldwide online payment processing business offering local culture payment technology of over 60 payment methods in over 180 countries. Working already with a number of large blue chip organisations, the Group has built a unique solution that empowers the client to process payments in a truly bespoke way.
They offer multiple payment solutions that enable PCI compliance integrated with a suite of fraud reporting and detection tools. These services are all accessible via one API integration that can be totally bespoke to meet a Merchants needs to enhance the customer experience and improve revenue performance.
What is the plan for the Systems Administrator role?
The System Administrator will report to the CTO and is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
You will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners. You will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology.
You are accountable for the following systems: Linux and Windows systems that support local and hosted infrastructure; Linux, Windows and Application systems that support Asset Management; Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.
What will you do as a Systems Administrator?
Troubleshoot and solve all Sys Admin related tasks on a day to day basis
Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure as required by the project at hand.
Perform constant monitoring on all the systems in our offices and hosted environment
Apply OS patches mainly on Linux but also some windows updates and keep track of new updates required
Troubleshoot and solve issues related to site to site VPNs all on Cisco ASA
A good understanding of Active Directory
Support local office PABX system
Provide IT Support to all offices local and abroad, coordinate outsourced support.

What do you know that makes you a great Systems Administrator?
Proven experience on Cisco Firewalls or CCNA qualification
Solid experience as a Systems Administrator in both a Windows and Linux environment
Sound knowledge of Databases and reporting tools
Salary € based on experience with bonus & excellent package.
