What is the plan for the Head of BI Analytics role?

The Head of BI will be responsible for setting the reporting analytics and insight vision for the company, optimising the necessary infrastructure to achieve this and delivering high quality reporting, insight and analytics to drive continued business performance.
Responsible for identifying opportunities data and analytics, enable the growth ambitions of the company and champion our commitment to data-driven decision making.
The candidate will have a solid grounding in data and data warehouse solutions, is expert in reporting and analytical technologies and most importantly know how to achieve real value from data and advanced statistical modelling and analytics.
Driving analytics through the organisation and ensuring the company has a common understanding of KPIs, business performance and customer trends will require a strong influencer who understands business priorities and a demonstrable ability to drive change.

What will you do as a Head of BI Analytics?

 Managing and prioritising the analytics roadmap for key business stakeholders, aligned with strategic initiatives and business priorities.
 Identifying revenue opportunities through analysis of trends in business performance, customer behaviour and market/competitor/consumer dynamics.
 Specifying BI and reporting infrastructure, and the requirements of the data warehouse development team.
 Re-designing and implementing department level reporting suite/solution to meet business needs to understand and manage business performance.
 Delivery of basic and advanced analytical solutions to business challenges, including statistical analyses, predictive modelling, customer segmentation and business simulation/forecasting modelling.
 Defining and delivering the BI & Analytics vision and specifying the necessary technical requirements to deliver, including implementation of the new data visualisation tool.
 Defining and leading a programme of research and analytics to deliver a deeper customer understanding across the organisation.
 Identifying internal skill gaps and solving through internal training, hiring or leveraging external agency support.
 Managing and aligning a team to deliver key business supporting objectives.
 Ensuring consistency in information, numbers, opinions and recommendations both within the BI team and across the business.
 Being the champion for analytics across the organisation and driving the adoption of data-driven decision making practices.

What do you know that makes you a great Head of BI Analytics?

 Data and data warehouse development.
 Building business performance reporting solutions.
 Designing marketing analytics solutions to evaluate and optimise marketing effectiveness and ROI.
 Product/Channel analytics and digital measurement across desktop and mobile (including native apps).
 Statistical analysis and modelling big data sets.
 Evaluating the impact of business performance and customer trends on future opportunity.
 Building and developing market leading analytics capability.
 A good understanding of Ecommerce and customer tracking techniques.
 iGaming and gambling experience – sports and casino.

 Passion for gaming and gambling products.
 Analytical thinker at strategic and operational level.
 Able to manage and develop high performing teams.
 Able to communicate the value of analytics to the business and influence data-driven mind set, and have measurable impact across the organisation.

Salary circa £90k based on experience with bonus, an excellent relocation package and private healthcare.
