RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a UK based Cleaning company who operate amongst the biggest cleaning contracts in the UK. They need an experienced Cleaning Team Manager to build and run a team of cleaners for a store in Gibraltar.

Responsibilities:

• Plan your cleaning operatives daily work schedules and ensure delivery to plan
• Ensure the team are adhering to log sheets and completing sign off in full hourly where necessary
• Ensure you complete a “daily check sheet” on cleaning standards delivered in each area of the building against the required specification and frequency
• Attend client team meetings daily/weekly – complete Team meetings next steps diary with any issues/points raised
• Carry out pre-booked weekly electronic cleaning audit with client representative- this must be fully completed, signed off by the client
• Complying with current Health and Safety legislation which includes ensuring that ALL employees on site have an up to date and fully completed 5 star training record form
• Ensure any HR issues are dealt with following Company procedure, liaise with line manager SSM and HR Dept
• Issue and control of staff uniforms and PPE
• Control of materials and equipment, including ensuring any repairs to machinery are called into Head Office before 10am each day, ensure stock control and monthly materials ordering adheres to deadlines required
• Checking staff daily signing in and out sheets and adherence to procedure
• Completing weekly timesheets
• Ensuring ALL incidents /accidents are recorded and necessary forms completed witness statements and available CCTV are obtained –please ensure you notify your SSM and Head Office immediately of any incidents/accidents which may occur
• Ensuring employee files and contract files are maintained and up to date
• Completing quarterly Health and Safety reports

Experience:

• Experience in a similar controlling cleaning teams of 10 cleaners
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Aware of all PPE and health and safety standards
• Flexible to work weekends

You must already live in the local area

Salary 20k - 22k based on experience
