What is the plan for the Compliance Officer role?

Your role is to ensure that the company is compliant with gambling legislation, related Law and regulations in all jurisdictions in which they operate and hold licenses. You will have full autonomy over all aspects of compliance for the company across areas such as Gambling Legislation, AML, CTF, Advertising Standards etc., develop and manage risk-based audits, and
be responsible for the maintenance of the Internal Control Manual.

What will you do as a Compliance Officer?

•Proactively monitors, assesses, reviews, and reports to senior management and the company upcoming regulatory changes on a worldwide basis and any related risks
•Handles licensing issues and other related compliance matters in existing and future regulated markets
•Identifies, creates, and maintains the company’s framework of polices, instructions, and procedures to ensure compliance
•Provides training to the company as needed
•Actively maintains and works with regulatory requirements in the company’s database tool
Acts as a point of contact between the legal representatives and compliance team and the technology department in matters related to audits and compliance.
• Supports in or manages license application and regulatory return processes.
• Monitoring and reporting risks and compliance gaps with respect to internal and external regulations.


What do you know that makes you a great Compliance Officer?

 Minimum 3 years of compliance experience from a regulated industry, e.g. Gaming, Finance.
 Good working knowledge of the Gambling Act 2005, AML, KYC and other gambling related procedures.
 Experience in dealing with regulators. Exposure to the UK Gambling Commission, Gibraltar Gambling, Alderney and Malta
gambling commissions are an advantage.
 Knowledge of responsible gaming and player protection best practices.
 Experience with gambling products, gambling companies or regulators.
 Passionate, hands-on, willing to take initiative
 Efficient, flexible, and organized with the ability to work well and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
 Ability to understand, analyze, and devise effective solutions that facilitate the business while maintaining best practices in
compliance.
 Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
 Personal license by the UKGC – big advantage.

Salary £40k - £45k based on experience.
