RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a market leading investment company who has a great opportunity for a Finance Manager to join this high performance team. This is a perfect role for an ambitious senior accountant who is looking to step forward in their career and take on the further responsibility of a finance manager. You will need to be technically very sound and have the personality to work alongside high calibre financial executives. In parts of this role, form time to time you may need to roll your sleeves up and be quite hands on in the production of the accounts and financial projections.

Responsibilities:

Accountancy responsibility for the Gibraltar entities with a turnover £50m+ per year and within the European Group who have approx. £20bn in assets.
Reviewing and evaluating potential investments worth millions of dollars - putting together budgets and cash flow projections for said investments.
Basic company administration of the Gibraltar entities including some legal work.
Over time you will become a company director in Gibraltar and be responsible for all around compliance of around 6 companies (1 main trading company and some investment holding entities).
You get involved in reviewing potential investments or M&A with the opportunity to grow into a transaction advisory role

Experience:

Fully qualified accountancy qualification preferably ACCA
Ability to compile full management accounts, P&L, B/S etc
Ideally you will be from a Big 4 background with some exposure to commercial accountancy
Have a strong personality matched with technical financial excellence
Ideally you will be resident in Gibraltar not Spain

You must already be living in the local area.

Salary £50k - £60k plus benefits.
