What is the plan for the Marketing Acquisition Manager role?

The company are currently seeking a commercially-driven professional to lead the Acquisition team in Gibraltar and to drive the profitable growth of the digital offering.
The ideal candidate will be a digital expert with a track record of success within the gaming industry, together with the ambition and smarts to deliver commercial growth in an increasingly challenging landscape.
The acquisition manger will be expected lead by example, responsible for both detailed operational and strategic levels to ensure we reach our goals.
They will be a capable people manager and will need to be able to effectively manage and support the development of a small sportsbook team. As a core member of the Gibraltar management team, this person will lead our acquisition and marketing strategies.
Highly analytical, the candidate will apply a customer / data led approach to planning and product and work with the relevant teams to identify growth and product development opportunities for the business.


What will you do as a Marketing Acquisition Manager?

Lead the acquisition team & report directly into the Head of Digital to plan and execute the new acquisition strategy in order to deliver against business goals and achieve acquisition business targets through digital, retail and other relevant departments.
Ability to track, report and interpret key online performance metrics to optimize and drive acquisition, traffic, conversion & ROI through online channels such as PPC, display, affiliates, SEO & retail.
Work with the analytical teams in order to understand the performance of the business and act accordingly.
Own the acquisition budget, managing and flexing as necessary across the year, including having mitigation plans in place to ensure budget and CPA targets are delivered.
Co-ordinate messaging across digital and ATL campaigns such as TV & print and build commercial analysis based on performance.
Develop a close partnership with relevant department heads to ensure a robust and data led approach to marketing and promotional campaigns.
Lead and develop a dedicated acquisition team to maximise their potential and deliver an operationally efficient experience for the customer.
Utilise customer insights and analytics to continuously improve the online marketing mix proposition, communication and creative display.
Undertake business improvement projects that improve the promotional offering & customer journey and report performance based on ROI, conversion etc.
Work with the Insights team to pull together month end and quarter reports.

What do you know that makes you a great Marketing Acquisition Manager?

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within the online gaming space.
PPC, affiliate & Display experience an advantage.
Strong and demonstrable analytical abilities with persistent rigour applied to assessing and analysing performance against projected outcomes.
The ability to work autonomously and multi-task is essential.
Customer focused with a data-led understanding of betting customers’ behaviours and preferences.
Excellent communicator with keen ability to manage the requirements, both internal and external to the business.
Proven people management experience.
A track record of commercial negotiations would be advantageous but not necessary.

Salary £50k - £60k based on experience with 15% bonus, an excellent relocation package and private healthcare.
