They require a Senior Front End Developer is responsible for the build and implementation of landing pages, email templates, and custom web pages. A key part of this role is to build and deliver bug free marketing assets aswell as the successful management of multiple projects concurrently with short turnaround times.

What is the plan for the role of Senior Front End Developer?

The candidate will report to the Head of Design and Content, as well as help and assist the development of junior team members. The Senior Front End Developer is expected to pro-actively collaborate with other team members, stakeholders and marketing counter parts to support and enable them to meet their KPI’s.

What will you do as a Senior Front End Developer?

• Develop new landing pages, web pages, email templates and marketing assets to help acquire satisfy and retain new customers
• The role demands cross browser testing, quality checking page builds, comparing design drafts against final product, and the insurance that all content is in the correct place
• Performing updates to Google Tag Manager
• Assisting the marketing and the acquisition departments in the implementation of their strategies in the most effective manner
• Manage and assist in the development of all content management systems
• Proactively identifying and drive forward site improvements, developments and fixes
• Perform code reviews to improve the overall quality of the team’s code
• Sanity check websites to insure all links, images and content are correct
• Effectively and clearly communicate with management, stakeholders and various third-party suppliers, including CMS team, product owners, SEO consultants, etc
• Bring a positive attitude and work ethic to the role
• Mentor Junior team members
• Maintain a passion for all things web related and bring this enthusiasm to the role
• Commit to quality and a thorough approach to work
• The role requires excellent management skills as well as an ability to organize and manage multiple projects

What do you know that makes you a great Senior Front End Developer?

• Exceptional knowledge of Front End development using modern web technologies
• Exceptional proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript libraries Jquery, angular etc.
• Exceptional knowledge of common web-technologies including HTML, HTML 5, CSS and CSS3
• Complete know how of HTML protocol – end to end lifecycle knowledge is a must, usage of CDN, Browser Dev Tools, web tracking etc
• Exceptional level proficiency in developing cross-browser compatible solutions
• Sound knowledge of .net, and XML
• Strong knowledge of web analytic tools like Google Analytics or Omniture
• Experience of using SiteCore CMS a huge plus
• Ability to produce responsive web pages for mobile, tablet and desktop from PSD mock ups
• Knowledge of supporting tools like Adobe Photoshop also a huge plus
• Strong experience of building responsive email templates using tables
• Fluent in English

Salary circa £45k based on experience with bonus, an excellent relocation package and private healthcare
