RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a very successful Global Investment company, who has a great opportunity for a part qualified Accountant for 9 - 12 months. The role will focus on helping the existing accounts team whilst also helping to analyse and report on the current investments.


Responsibilities

• Help in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Help with Balance Sheet reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Monitor, analyse, track and report on a range of investments
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Assisting with budget preparation
• Accurate postings onto the accounting software
• Working paper analysis on Excel spreadsheets
• Ad-hoc reports as and when required

Requirements:-

You must already live in the area

• Previous experience of working in an accounts department to a similar level.
• Minimum AAT qualified but ideally ACCA / CIMA part qualified.
• Previous financial analysis and reporting a strong preference.
• Ability to work with little supervision and on own initiative
• Experience of working in a small team preferable.
• Experience of a variety of different accounting packages
• Advanced Excel skills
• Complete fluency in English

Salary circa £30k - 35k dependent on experience
