RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client, one of the best known and highly regarded companies within the online gaming industry, to find a Front-end Developer. They are looking to expand their existing web development team with the addition of a talented and focused developer.

What is the plan for the Front-end Developer role?

Your primary responsibility will be to build and enhance systems that support the UK racing business. You will have the opportunity to use your Front-end experience to assist the team in achieving company objectives. Your trouble shooting skills and the ability to work independently on set tasks will make you a strong candidate for this position.

What will you do as a Front-end Developer?

Deliver solutions against written business requirements and technical specification documents as directed.
Investigate, analyse and document reported defects.
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses (Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Jest or any other).
Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
Build and design C# applications
Integrate a series of third party APIs


What do you know that makes you a great Front-end Developer?


Core Javascript skills
Experience with Single Page Apps
ASP.NET MVC v2 or above
Strong C# and object oriented programming skills
Experience using Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks
Previous experience with Restful APIs, Web service
Be a good Communicator and have good Interpersonal skills.
Have good Analytical Skills
Experience with Front-end frameworks (Ember, Backbone, Angular, React ext)
Exposure to Event Driven Architecture
IT Graduate in IT Discipline
Worked in an Agile environment
