RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a worldwide online payment processing business with offices through Europe, who need a Lead QA Automation Tester to join their high performance team. Working already with a number of large blue chip organizations, the Group has built a unique solution that empowers the client to process payments in a bespoke way that is completely independent.

QA Automation Tester responsibilities:

- Define, document, and implement strategies and plans for the testing automation regression suite.
- Document issues and testing methods to allow for tractability and repeatability of tests
- Work closely with the development team to design and implement automated test suites for new features and regression of existing functional tests
- Improve existing test frameworks. Work productively in a continuous integration
- Accurately identify and report on issues found during testing, providing root cause and impact analyses
- Create and develop test cases according to standards – primarily through automation, with augmentation by manual testing
- Update JIRA according to standard including mapping test cases to requirements
- Support and provide constructive feedback on existing processes and standards to the core development team as well as the business

Requirements for the Automation Tester:

- Minimum 3 years experience in QA Software Testing;
- Good Selenium knowledge, SQL basics. Basic knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as Java and/or JavaScript;
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g. Atlassian JIRA);
- Creating test scripts, test plans and test cases according to standards. The QA tester is responsible for using all test management tools according to standard, as well as working in a team environment to implement a process for agile development work.

Salary circa €35k – €45k based on experience with an excellent package.
