RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a long established and reputable online sports betting company, who promote talented employees, encourage and enable creativity, generate opportunities and secure sustainability. They want a 3D Artist who will work with a passion to deliver a unique user experience in sports betting all over the world.

You will be an experienced 3D generalist to able to do modeling, texturing, lighting, animation and visual effects. The selected candidate will work on various casino and slot games for desktop and mobile. You will work with an existing team consisting of product managers, developers, illustrators and graphical artists.

Key Responsibilities

Develop assets through the entire pipeline individually, from concept, to modeling, to textures, material application, shaders and animations.
Work closely with the art directors/leads and product managers so as to develop concepts, prototypes, and production-ready content
Work closely, and in parallel, with developers in order to implement art assets efficiently to allow for rapid iteration of sample design and aesthetics
Create a wide variety of compelling 3D production-ready assets including characters, environments and props for casino, slot and virtual sports.
Ensure quality, consistency and compliance of the content throughout the production process
Work on the development of a visual style, design and overall look of the new projects
Support team in game development and design

Required Skills

You will have an online portfolio of work

Strong general art foundation
3+ years of 3D modelling and animation experience, with ability to create modern and traditional design styles, motion graphics, animation pieces and 3D design
Strong understanding of 3D animation principles, techniques and fundamentals as well as knowledge of special effect technologies and 3D rendering
Proficiency in various 3D software example Maya, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, Rhino, Mudbox and ZBrush
Knowledge of 2D software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
Excellent communication, typography and graphics skills
Ability to work independently and on own initiative in a team, multi task and work under strict deadlines
Ability to create many different types of art styles
Excellent texturing skills with an understating of UV optimisation
Animation and Rigging experience
Work on multiple products and have ability to multitask
The ideal candidate should be a generalist, able to solve problems across multiple platforms and pipelines
Critical eye for color, art, and animation

Salary circa €28k - €32k based on experience plus Health Insurance and assistance in finding accommodation.
