Their continual investment in leading-edge technology helps them set industry standards. They are search for an experienced Business Analyst to be a critical part of the software development lifecycle, as you capture product requirements and break them down into simple, insightful user stories before translating them into tasks for our Development gurus.

Working hand-in-hand with other craftspeople – from Product Managers and Product Business Analysts to Product Designers – you’ll explain how the current system works, where its limitations lie and how to make it perform better. Ultimately, it’ll be down to you to make sure functionality meets the needs of the business and is delivered on time. So you’ll prioritise the product backlogs and be actively involved in the sprint planning.

You’ll be part of a super-motivated Software Development team that’s structured around product-centric PODs. Each POD includes technical leadership, development, architecture, QA, and product and project management functions. Your work will affect every one of them.

Responsibilities:

• Capture functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into development tasks
• Answer day-to-day development questions throughout the software development lifecycle
• Cooperate with all sorts of creative thinkers as you work through systems flows and requirements, find ways to improve requirements capture, tooling and processes, and get to grips with the needs of players and the business
• Manage technical requirements across multiple development teams, keeping a close eye on quality
• Analyse and manage any day-to-day changes to project plans, making sure we can still hit our deadlines

Experience:

• An experienced writer of user stories, use cases and other software development artifacts
• Someone who’s worked in systems analysis, with QA departments, and remotely with business and product stakeholders across different time zones
• Able to coordinate analysis work and use different techniques to create detailed specifications
• Well-versed in Agile, Scrum and competing methodologies – and skilled at knowing when to use which
• Familiar with Issue Tracking (Jira) tools
• Ability to work with both business and technical staff to drive tasks to completion.
• Ability to understand requirements and interactions of the systems from a technical perspective and provide solutions.
• Ability to handle multiple streams of work and prioritise accordingly
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentational)
• Good at getting on with things in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment

Salary €50K- €55K based on experience with an excellent relocation package.
