RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a leading financial services company is searching for a Business Development Manager to join its existing team. Due to their on-going success they are looking to expand the sales team and require a Business Development Manager to build on their success in Europe.

Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager role:

You will be highly motivated and determined to reach sales targets, able to identify and procure new business. You will need excellent networking and negotiating skills with the ability to deal comfortably with all levels of senior management from company directors to technical specialists. Flexible to travel across the UK and Europe meeting new business prospects. An understanding of the payments sector is preferred but not essential as we will provide full training for the right candidate. You must be a team-player.

Must be able to generate own leads
Travel across Europe to meet potential clients and present the services
Keeping up-to-date with industry products and services
Networking with industry professionals and stakeholders
Communicating with senior managers and stakeholders
Coordinate projects with internal/external departments and implementation teams
Report to the Business Development Director (weekly meetings)
Create new business leads in line with the company strategy
Calculate proposals to maximise revenue
Complete sales process documentation
Ensure the CRM is up to date

Experience for the Business Development Manager role:

At least 5 years B2B sales experience
Experience of working within Financial services
European languages a distinct advantage
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Salary is up to 35k plus bonus
