Our client is searching for a Country Manager for Spain to be responsible for creating and delivering local opportunities and developing the market in Spain. You will have directly accountability for growth through better localisation of all company products and overall responsibility for the country's performance by generating and implementing business leads for online and offline marketing channels.
Key role objectives Increase sales in the region by local business development in the region Maximise local marketing channels by generating and implementing leads for all: offline, online, affiliates, partnerships and SEO departments. CRM activities generating local CRM activities according to market specific needs via central CRM Source and close affiliate deals and assist in building and maintaining affiliate relations Create and manage all local offline campaigns to achieve an increase in player activity: plan, negotiate and implement Monitor and maximise the effectiveness of each campaign by integrating campaigns across all marketing channels Responsible for maintaining and optimising local budget Generate new local marketing tactics and implement by working with all departments and divisions as well as external vendors Lead country forum meetings with members across all marketing channels and offering departments. Operational management of affiliate account manager based in Spain. Product localisation- responsible for localisation of product including: bringing business cases for integration of local products in to the company platform. Local payment methods- generate leads and build business case for local payment solutions, coordinate with headquarters Localisation of web content- of all company websites and ensure it is locally focused Local networking- participate in industry events, member of magazines, clubs, forums etc. Keep aligned with all industry trends. Technical Skills Required 5-7 years management experience, preferably in gaming, other online industries Direct experience in the region Consumer/sales marketing management with P&L responsibility Awareness of the impact of legal frameworks when developing marketing strategy (e.g. regulation) Setting up agreements with third party providers, e.g. Service level agreements, including sliding scale fees and penalty clause for non-delivery Managing different segmentations and databases to maximise return on investment Experience of managing agencies creative and media You will possess the following skills University Degree in Marketing or Business Studies with excellent spoken and written English and Spanish (ideally native tongue of Spain). Sales oriented and target focused: Proven track record of growing revenue and profit consistently over time. Entrepreneurial, willing to break from big business shackles to make a name for the company. Managed significant budgets Ability to source strategic deals with partners and vendors to grow the business Strong networking skills the ability to influence, motivate and inspire others and demonstrate long term business relationships Ability to apply various types of tactics guerrilla marketing as well as conventional campaigns Planned Campaigns through the Marketing Mix, execute, analyze results and optimize resources to achieve optimal results over time Ability to successfully manage relationships both with global internal stakeholders and external partners such as Advertising & Media agencies Strong interpersonal skills ability to influence & inspire others and to work effectively in a multi-geography team Ability to work independently in a matrix organization, leading members of other divisions and motivating them to achieve regional goals Self starter with an ability work independently and remotely Salary dependant on experience. |
