What is the plan for the VIP Promotions Manager role?

The VIP Promotions Manager will work with the Senior VIP Promotions Manager and manage the promotional strategy, execution and development of the VIP customer proposition. The VIP Promotions Manager will work closely with both the Senior VIP Promotions and the VIP Directors to ensure that there is an effective management and reporting of the promotional plan to VIP customers for both Sports and Gaming.

What will you do as a VIP Promotions Manager?

Manage all promotional marketing activity across desktop and mobile channels (including Sports and Casino verticals) to attract, retain and reactivate VIP customers, working closely with all teams across the business (including Sports, Gaming, CRM, BI and customer operations)
Manage and co-ordinate the promotional plan across each channel, vertical and VIP customer segment to ensure that the VIP promotions team delivers promotions that are most relevant to the consumer, competitively positioned against our key competitors in each market, within budget/forecast guidelines and ultimately delivering a positive ROI at gross profit level to our most valuable customer base
This role is accountable for the management of the VIP bonus spend to ensure all bonus spend is efficiently managed driving actives, turnover and ROI
Provide leadership and direction to the VIP Promotions team cultivating a culture where continuous improvement is embraced and under-performance effectively managed/resolved
On a weekly basis attend bonus optimisation reviews and work closely with Trading, BI, Sports and Gaming verticals to analyse and adapt all existing and new promotions and update the promotional plan accordingly
Working with the Campaign Analysts, report on promotional effectiveness on all major campaigns (e.g. Cheltenham) as well as weekly promotional effectiveness on all key KPIs including actives, turnover etc.


What do you know that makes you a great VIP Promotions Manager?

Previous experience working within a Sports and/or Gaming business at a manager level
Brand marketing and promotional experience across multiple products, verticals or brands
Previous experience working within the Sports and Gaming business is critical as will a keen understanding of the marketplace and competitor landscape
Keen knowledge of sports betting markets and rules, across all sports and understanding of the most relevant sports; strong understanding of the attraction and principles of gaming (Casino, Bingo and Poker)
Strong customer and financial analytical skills with the ability to leverage them effectively; experience of working closely with partners in BI/Finance to develop analytical tools and processes to optimise bonus expenditure and return


Salary circa £35k based on experience with bonus & an excellent relocation and benefits package.
