RecruitGibraltar are currently recruiting for a Senior Strategic Marketing Manager to join a leading online betting and gaming company, with a strong track record of digital innovation. As a strong online business with a mobile first ethos that brings the excitement of sports betting, casino games, poker and bingo to a rapidly growing number of customers in the leisure betting and gaming market; they have sustained rapid growth over the last few years and are expanding further.

What is the plan for the Senior Strategic Marketing Manager role?

Accountable for marketing strategy and innovation leadership for all digital brands driving marketing impact to surpass £135m GGR target and accountable for maximizing ROI targets achieved across all campaign marketing channels, including integrated marketing campaigning, partnerships and multichannel initiatives.

What will you do as a Senior Strategic Marketing Manager?

- Accountable for the planning and implementation of the Marketing strategy for the digital including all functional responsibilities of integrated marketing campaigns, content marketing, digital PR, multi-channel campaigns, campaign planning and sponsorships / partnerships, including budget planning, audience profiling and targeting, purchasing media, post-campaign analysis and on-going optimization.
- Strategise and operationalize marketing campaigns based on a connected response approach, making operational use of an attribution model to better understand stimulus and through the line activation to achieve departmental acquisition and player value targets.
- Manage the delivery of campaigns for the Digital business, including BAU and bespoke acquisition campaigns, as well as liaise with wider departments to achieve brand and wider marketing obligations.
- Create, analyse and deliver campaign analysis with weekly and period reports, ensuring key strategic financial focused are defined for immediate action to Head of Marketing and key stakeholders
- Lead the team that manages marketing coordination and planning – plus develop the relationship with other internal departments as well as 3rd party agencies
- Lead the team that manages all content marketing, SEO and PR for digital channels
- Lead the team that manages all product marketing to our multi-channel base in direct partnership with our retail teams
- Lead all strategic delivery of sponsorship and partnerships
- Responsible for presenting coordinated and integrated marketing plans to HODM and key senior management for the brands on a quarterly and period basis.
- Responsible for £25m cost control across all marketing campaigns and £30m GGR target.
- Lead the team that manages creative design requests and delivery for marketing campaigns within the team.
- Liaise and collaborate with the wider marketing department to communicate, plan and execute integrated cross channel campaigns to achieve brand multichannel target of £135m GGR.
- Responsible for the team that manages the production of product roadmaps, digital product brand identity and promotional calendars and the subsequent communication to the marketing team in Gibraltar
- Responsible for driving strategic recommendation, by monitoring and benchmarking competitor campaign / financial performance and managing the media plan from multiple 3rd party agencies.


What do you know that makes you a great Senior Strategic Marketing Manager?

Significant experience in the planning of and execution of large marketing campaigns, ideally integrated marketing plans, and be familiar with project management practice and tools.
Significant experience in developing, implementing and measuring performance marketing campaigns across a mix of channels.
Significant senior digital marketing strategy experience, able to understand a cross channel response measurement framework.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with a very strong commercial awareness and focus
Ability to lead and manage colleagues indirectly and directly within the wider digital marketing team
