What is the plan for the role?

You will be responsible for the business monitoring and providing the analytical base work and business modelling input that is needed for taking reasonable commercial decisions and for being able to optimally allocate the respective budgets. This role will be primarily focused around supporting data driven decision making and insights with focus on all key areas of sports operations, trading, customer risk and sports product. You will create and improve the performance of our customer profiling, risk models and sports operations and trading which are used in our products and thereby directly influence the company results.

What will you do as a?

Understanding the business, especially sports operations, trading, customer risk and sports product, to ensure analytical needs are met.
Review business performance general + quality monitoring with focus sports operations, customer risk and trading (identify betting patterns/model or trading ops issues) -what went well; what could be improved
Optimization of betting program/content in terms of event coverage (b2b comparison vs. alignment on delivery with trading ops), certain quality parameters (e.g. uptime, live bet delay, bet corrections, ...)
Sports operations budget planning and re-forcasting
Ad-hoch reports target specific betting patterns or product assessment, customer focused assessments
Understanding and improving the players experience on site.
Pro-actively analysing the available business data from multiple sources to provide timely and actionable insight.
Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor innovations.

What do you know that makes you a great?

You will already have some experience as an analyst or in an analytical field with knowledge of statistical tools and methods as well as a degree in Applied Mathematics or similar. It would be even better if you had gambling and sports betting industry experience. You will be self-motivated with the desire to find and solve real business problems and confident in delivering your findings to multiple stakeholders across business departments.

Salary circa £45k - £50k based on experience with bonus & an excellent relocation and benefits package.
