RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a leading financial services company who has a great opportunity for a Risk & Oversight Officer to work in close co-operation with the Compliance Director and consult with various members of the Finance, Compliance and Operations teams internally and communicating with other external companies. This position will assist the business by participating in the monitoring and maintenance of its risk management framework.
What will you do as a Risk & Oversight Officer?
Undertake and lead audit reviews of third party relationships
To manage the audit review framework and scheduling
To develop an understanding of the business, its products and the technical requirements that are used for risk mitigation purposes
Participate and take responsibility for the ongoing record keeping requirements of the companys enterprise risk management framework
Data analysis to identify potential areas of strengths and vulnerabilities to develop best practices
The development and recommendation of risk mitigation plans to senior management
Drafting and recommendation of remedial action plans when required
Provision of periodic risk management information reports

Regulatory Framework for Financial Services
Knowledge of experience of auditing preferably in the financial services sector
Strong Communication Skills Written and Oral
Experience of Data Analysis
Administrative and Multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of the Prepaid Card Industry would be an advantage but not mandatory
Experience of working in an audit role preferred
Knowledge of risk management
Experience within the financial services industry
MS Excel (strong skills in this area are an advantage, should at least be able to use Pivot Tables and analyze data in an efficient way)
You must live in the local area or have a set relocation date
Salary circa £35k based on experience with bonus & benefits package.
