RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a well established financial services company who has a great opportunity for a Receptionist to join this high performance team based in Gibraltar. The company is progressive and ambitious, has a policy of promoting from within and has a dedication to professional training and progression. You will provide full time reception cover for our busy office. Being the first point of contact on the telephone and front office for all visitors, customers and clients. Further to reception duties there will be several support duties within the HR and Admin teams. Also providing support to the PA of the CEO and Directors when required.

You must live in the Gibraltar or Southern Spain area. Hours are 9am -5pm from Monday to Friday.

What will you do as a Receptionist?

• Receiving clients, guests and attending to them. Logging them in the visitor’s book. Making sure all the meeting rooms, waiting areas & kitchenette are clean and clear at all times. Organising and catering lunches for clients, functions, and staff meetings; cleaning/clearing up after every meeting.
• Answering all incoming calls; forwarding/taking/relaying messages.
• General running of reception and maintenance: Making sure files in the reception cupboard are up to date and organised. Ordering couriers’ bags when needed. Making sure all reception lights, tv’s and air cons are switched off at the end of the day. Making sure all windows are closed and locked at the end of the day and that blinds are drawn closed on Friday’s. Making sure that cabinet keys are locked away and kept safe overnight. Booking in meetings for clients and staffs with a timely manner. Sending emails when there are fire test alarms. Login incoming hand deliveries on a daily basis.
• Saving copies of up to date passports, ID’s and POA of directors and senior managers.
• Assisting with the relevant spreadsheets and filing of closed companies, archives & active companies.
• Checking invoices carefully and signing for them when: supplies and stationery is ordered and delivered to the office.
• When required assist the HR officer with specific duties in relation to absence management, recruitment (mainly arranging interviews) and HR administration in general.
• PA assistance providing support to Chairman, CEO and Directors.


What do you know that makes you a great Receptionist?

• Proven experience as a receptionist is essential.
• Educated to A level standard or Spanish equivalent. GSCE English and Maths.
• English written and spoken as your first language is essential
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish is strongly preferred

Salary £18k - £22k based on experience with bonus & benefits package.
