What is the plan for the Head of Technical Compliance role?

Ensure alignment of Technology offering with the compliance requirements that the organization is exposed to. These requirements come mainly from the Security and Regulatory Compliance teams but are also defined by several other stakeholders such as Finance or Payments.

The role is responsible for translating these business requirements into operational changes that need to happen to achieve or maintain compliance and ensuring that appropriate tests and audits are conducted to start and maintain operations in regulated markets. In addition the role is responsible for creating frameworks and designing processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of our approach to technology alignment in regulated markets

What will you do as a Head of Technical Compliance?

Adjust and ensure that Security Policies are implemented throughout the group
Research, plan and manage projects to implement the group Technical Compliance program.
Owner for security and product homologation audits
Maintain ISO27001 and PCI-DSS certifications across the group
Conduct third-party security due diligence reviews
Introduce Technology platform and process changes to align with compliance and security requirements
Analyze technical audit requirements and support recurring audits of Technology platform and processes. Coordinate technical audits across several areas.
Fostering process improvements, technical architecture enhancements, knowledge sharing and learning with the objective to increase efficiency and effectiveness of Technology and Product supporting multiple regulations
Supporting Compliance in managing relationships with regulators and other external stakeholders
Define and improve Technical Compliance processes to increase the effectiveness of the company in operating to regulated markets. Design and introduce technical architecture enhancements for new regulatory services.
Support entry into new gaming markets and new B2B partnerships.
Support of regulatory compliance efforts on technical discussions
Identify and escalate risk to compliance efforts caused by changes introduced in the Platform and Product operations. Resolve risks satisfactorily.
Report to regulatory compliance on incidents that may affect regulatory compliance efforts
This role performance will directly impact the costs of bringing our technology and applications aligned with jurisdictional regulatory requirements, participating in key decisions to enter new markets

What do you know that makes you a great Head of Technical Compliance?

Solid experience in a similar position
Customer-oriented person, with the ability to educate a non-technical audience on Technical Compliance and Integration subjects
Jurisdictional compliance knowledge: ARJEL, GRA, AGCC, AAMS, etc. This person needs to be familiar with Compliance regulations and our overall architecture, leading audits and participating in key decisions to enter new market, speaking with the regulators themselves on behalf of the company
Regulatory and industry standards work: ISO27001, PCI-DSS, etc.
Excellent knowledge of Technical Compliance processes as well as outstanding technical knowledge of the underlying technical foundations

Experience in the following areas:
Technical compliance
Regulatory management
Product development
IT Audits
Risk management

Relevant professional qualifications will be considered, although not a requirement, e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, GIAC, etc.
