RecruitGibraltar are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a leading online betting and gaming company, with a strong track record of digital innovation. As a pure online business with a mobile first ethos that brings the excitement of sports betting, casino games, poker and bingo to a rapidly growing number of customers in the leisure betting and gaming market; they have sustained rapid growth over the last few years and are expanding further.

What is the plan for the Financial Controller role?

This role will assist the Head of Finance in the management of the day to day finance team activities. You will be responsible for creating financial statements both for internal and external stakeholders and support the company audits.

What will you do as a Financial Controller?

Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts, providing insightful commentary and analysis
Production of consolidated accounts for the group in accordance with the relevant accounting principles
Manage internal finance diary
Assist in the preparation of the annual budgeting process
Provide support to wider finance team
Lead on key balance sheet reconciliations
Manage Actual vs Budget reporting, communicating with budget holders across the business
Assisting AP function, ensuring compliance with our internal procurement policies
Assist in management of company resources (cash management)
Manage annual audit with the approved external auditor
Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
Managing finance team work flow

What do you know that makes you a great Financial Controller?

Qualified or Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in a similar role
Have had exposure to the production of Financial Accounts, Management Accounts and Budgets
Confident in presenting to financial and non-financial management
Ideally experience in eGaming but not essential

Salary £45k - £50k based on experience with bonus & an excellent benefits package.
