What will you do as a Finance Manager?
Prepare and reconcile timely and accurate management accounts, financial statements, business analysis and management information
Produce and review annual budgets as well as re forecasts
Prepare statutory accounts
Prepare and issue Solvency 2 regulatory and model reporting – including quarterly reporting templates, annual returns, statistical returns, quality assurance, business analysis and forecasts
Prepare and submit taxation submissions
Assist in managing external audit process and liaise with external auditors
Support with / review daily and monthly payment runs
Maintain and improve controls / systems, specifically in the claims and debtors areas
Manage, coach and develop finance team
Support internal finance based queries
Work within regulatory framework to protect customers and to protect and enhance integrity of the company
What do you know that makes you a great Finance Manager?
Qualified with relevant industry experience
Insurance experience preferred but not essential
Financial Management experience
High levels of confidence
Ability to work independently and in an efficient manner
Exceptionally strong communication skills
Salary £45k - 50k based on experience with bonus & an excellent relocation and benefits package.
