What is the plan for the Compliance & MLRO role?
The Compliance & Money Laundering Reporting Officer is to be responsible for the oversight of the company’s anti-money laundering obligations.
What will you do as a Compliance & MLRO?
Be a leader and enable the business by navigating AML and CTF risks and work alongside these teams to build products with a healthy compliance foundation.
Responsible for the efficiency of the AML proceedures.
Overseeing and maintaining the Compliance framework (onboarding, monitoring, reporting and quality assurance), by working alongside teams across various workstreams.
Develop and maintain accurate and management information (MI) that allows the Board and leadership team to make informed decisions and contribute to the Compliance framework, while serving as the primary Board contact on all matter related to AML and CTF on at least a quarterly basis.
Develop and maintain and a AML/ CTF risk management program, which tracks risks and keeps all teams informed of the “health” of the Compliance program.
Undertake, at least annually AML/ CTF risk assessment ensuring that remedial action to remedy any areas that need improvement.
What do you know that makes you a great Compliance & MLRO?
Previous experience in AML / compliance ideally within financial services.
Up to date on all matter relating to AML / compliance.
Based on Gibraltar
Salary circa £24k based on experience with bonus & an excellent relocation and benefits package.
The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in and will be responsible for fulfilling due diligence (compliance/KYC) requirements pursuant to applicable laws, regulations, guide-lines, internal procedures. Degree qualified or industry recognised qualifications, experience with ViewPoint, and additional languages will be a distinct advantage.
