RecruitGibraltar are currently recruiting for a CRO / Web Analyst to join a leading online betting and gaming company, with a strong track record of digital innovation. They bring the excitement of sports betting, casino games, poker and bingo to a rapidly growing number of customers in the leisure betting and gaming market; they have sustained rapid growth over the last few years and are expanding further.

What is the plan for the CRO / Web Analyst role?

You will be a dynamic and analytical individual who will be able to help the Business further understand onsite customer behaviour and locate customer pain-points around key journeys by using a number of tools currently available.This involves understanding problem areas, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth, and assisting the Head of Optmisation and Customer Experience producing actionable recommendations that impact on the bottom line, helping to follow them through implementation and post deployment impact analysis.

What will you do as a CRO / Web Analyst?

Using a variety of online tools available including Google Analytics, deep-dive into web analytics to develop insights and recommendations that lead to improved website conversion rates and improved overall customer experience.
Help to identify and monitor customer pain points, obstacles to conversion and other potential customer issues by analysingclicks, page views, heat maps, time on site, bounce rates, various funnel/journey conversion rate %s, attribution, etc.
Assist in developing clear KPI reporting that work to identify areas of opportunity within Customer Journeys paying particular attention to website registration, verification, depositbehaviour and betslipabandonment.
Assist in the ongoing optimisation of our Mobile site and app
Assisting Head of Optimisation and CX with AB Testing and Personalisation plan execution as well as detailed, accurate reporting against same
Assisting Head of Optimisation and CX with end-to-end Voice of Customer strategy including delivery of online surveys, collection of feedback by other means and delivering valuable insights to Business stakeholders with the objective of fully understanding our customers’ behavior and motivations


What do you know that makes you a great CRO / Web Analyst?

The ideal candidate will have had previous hands-on experience as a web analyst and will be able to give examples of how his/her insight helped shape a particular digital strategy/project).
Ability to create concise analytical reports on current behaviouraltrends and mapping journeys using tools web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and data visualization / BI toolkits (e.g. Tableau, SAS VA, Qlikview)
The successful candidate will be hands-on in a variety of projects falling within the departments remit ranging from Customer Experience (CX), Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) to Voice of the Customer (VoC).
Demonstrated experience in developing reports, analyses and insights that drove measurable improvement in digital KPIs and business growth.
Experience using web analytics platforms essential (e.g. Google Analytics, Coremetrics, Formisimo, Qubit, CrazyEgg, Google Website Optimiser, Clicktale, Tealium, other)


Salary circa 40k based on experience with bonus & an excellent relocation and benefits package.
