Our client is searching for an Information Systems & Projects Manager to provide overall ownership of the programmes & projects from inception to completion and manage both the projects and development teams. You will be required to -
• To provide overall ownership of a defined transition project from inception to completion. • Management of all resources, internal, client and 3rd Party, overall financial and technical responsibility for the programmes / projects. • To provide project definition, management and reporting services. • Be involved mainly in the design and deployment phases of each project and responsible for ensuring positive transition through deployment into successful on-going operation by handover to IT operations. • A high level of competence is required in the following areas: o Project Definition. o Planning o Project control o Team leadership o Relationship management o Technical Management • You will have previous experience as a project manager with strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure Technology. • Experience of managing large infrastructure projects • Proven knowledge of a strong project methodology is required • Degree Level or equivalent • Prince 2 or relevant Project Management qualification • Being adaptable and flexible in getting the job done. • Taking accountability for the success of failure of their projects. • Showing good negotiation skills to produce win-win situations in times of project conflict. • Well developed verbal, written and presentation skills applied to all project communication • Comfortable under pressure and deadlines • Holistic approach to problem solving Salary circa 50k plus bonus |
