Our client a leading gaming company are searching for an IT Operations Analyst to ensure the smooth running of everyday operations providing 1st and 2nd line support for all internal customer facing and back office applications and associated services.
Key Responsibilities • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all internal customer facing and back office applications and associated services • Provide accurate and detailed diagnosis and, where possible, problem resolution for issues and incidents affecting availability, performance and functional integrity of applications and any services provided by the I.T function. • Escalate problems as necessary in accordance with the departments SLA's & escalation paths, while still owning problems from resolution through to closure. • Provide Incident Reports on problems to senior management, stakeholders and other interested parties through the lifecycle of problems or incidents • At all times to be focused on providing maximum possible level of service availability of the production systems • Work with multiple functions of the business to ensure business efficiency • Monitor alerts and alarms for 3rd party managed Services • Perform daily, weekly and monthly operational tasks as set out by the operations manager • Maintain accurate operational documentation on all ecommerce systems and applications • Document incidents, and resolutions, appropriately in the ticketing system and or Knowledge Base and update system documentation accordingly Knowledge Skills & Experience • Knowledge of web based systems infrastructure and e-applications • Knowledge of ITIL concepts and framework • Degree in a business or technology discipline • ITIL V2 practitioner qualification advantageous • Good understanding of mission critical trading applications and technologies • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. • Good relationship and interpersonal skills • Good written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail • At least 2 years experience in a similar operational role • A flexible approach to working hours is required • Previous experience in the eGaming industry (Casino, Poker, Sports) advantageous Salary based on experience |
