A leading North American software company recently established in Malaga are looking for the following:
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and manage all technical aspects of the project, including: o Development and review of technical requirements o Assignment of work to team o Approval of teams designs and implementations Provide Project Manager with reliable estimates for technical work and review risk lists for completeness and accuracy Deliver high-quality components that meet all project requirements Champion of superior solutions Oversee responsible development of components, alerting PM to changes in estimates and risks Lead and mentor other developers Works with Architecture team to determine technology solutions Requirements: 5 10 years experience designing, coding, and maintaining systems in Java Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams Demonstrated experience building significant systems with various pieces of J2EE Demonstrated experience on Unix/Linux, Apache, and Tomcat platforms. JBoss experience a plus Strong experience in database design/implementation, especially DB2, MySQL, or MS SQL University degree in Computer Science or a related field Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) Salary and benefits: The company will pay above "market rate" for this role, with a full contract and fringe benefits package available after qualifying period.
