Our client is looking for a Q.A. Lead (Sports) to help the software development team achieve quality and performance goals. The ideal candidate will be an active sports better who has a passion for it or will have already tested online sports betting applications. This role requires an inquisitive, proactive mind and a genuine interest in technology and/or online games in general.
The Q.A. Lead (Sports), is responsible for evaluating and reporting on the quality of software products. This includes the planning and estimating of overall test strategy, submitting bugs, developing test plans, designing and running tests, progress reporting and reporting on product quality. The role also involves working closely with Team Leads and Developers to make sure everything is executed as effectively and efficiently as possible. Responsibilities: Plan, estimate, and review test strategy on a project basis Transfer sports betting knowledge to rest of the team and promote enthusiasm for it Review requirements and designs Develop and execute comprehensive test cases Report on test lifecycle progress Champion process improvement Develop comprehensive test plans that explain the test strategy for a project Log bug reports with attention to detail Alert team to emerging issues and concerns Prioritize and assign tasks to team (e.g., executing test plans, running test cases, investigating bug reports, etc.) Set test schedules and communicate schedules to stakeholders Support testers by reviewing work and providing feed Work with the QA Manager and QA Process Analyst to improve QA processes Motivate, excite, and engage the team Skills / Experiences: Bachelors degree in either Computer Science or related Engineering discipline 2 years experience testing sports betting online applications and/or 2 years minimum personal experience betting on sports 2-3 years experience in software QA Ability to work within, teach, and improve multiple software development lifecycle processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This position is ideal for someone looking to contribute energy, technical know-how and responsibility to a high-speed development environment.
