Our client is searching for an Assistant Management Accountant to be responsible for assisting the financial controller in delivering timely management and financial accounts and implementing financial controls on the business.
Your responsibilities Bank reconciliations- supervise/ perform reconciliations for up to 30 bank accounts across multi currencies. Monitor and control liquidity- Ensure bank accounts do not go overdrawn and that cash position is optimised and produce reports for senior management on cash flow Production of the gross profit figures, generated from base date report Analyse month and year to date result v budget and forecast. Supervise and train payments/banking assistant Responsibility for reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts. Share responsibility for updating schedules required for the month end result using reports Assist in preparation of accounts to trial balance Monitoring expenses for the month and analyse. Liaise with cost centre managers to gain explanations and build recurring variances in to forecast where applicable. Prepare accruals & prepayments and communicate prepaid expenses to cost centre managers to make sure that it is incorporated in to future spend plans. Assist with the P&L and Balance Sheet and the production of the budget and monthly forecast. Experience in a similar role Part of full CIMA/ ACCA part qualified. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Experience of Microsoft Office Experience of Sage You will live locally Salary circa 25k |
