Job Description: |
Our client is searching for a DBA / Data Asset Manager to ensure data integrity and provide the business with timely business intelligence data.
Requirements: · Oracle / SQL server infrastructure DBA with at least 5 year experience in production systems · 3+ years experience with ETL processing · 3+ years experience with DWH technologies · Experience with NIX and MS O/S. · Open-minded and able to think outside of the box and provide non-standard solutions · Capable with multi-tasking · Good communication skills (verbal & written) · Ready for periods of high load · Additional databases (SQL server / Oracle, MySQL, Access) is an advantage · Familiarity with PCI is an advantage Main responsibilities (tasks will include but are not limited to): · Maintaining production databases · Working with third-party software providers to maintain our databases and optimize their performance · Learning, understanding and documenting of the current information sources · Acting as a main point of contact for information retrieval and provide ad-hoc reporting · Being responsible for information integrity and quality · In cooperation with business analyst, learning and understanding the information needs of online business · Designing and implementing DWH for online gaming · Defining and maintaining ETL processing Salary is circa £38k |
